Limit Loud Sounds in Windows

Sometimes a video can be quiet, but then a loud annoying sound appears unexpectedly. Here is how to cap the maximum sound loudness in Windows, and equalize the sound:

  1. Go to your lap top producer's web site - Dell, Lenovo, etc.

  2. Download and install their equalizer for free

  3. For Dell it is called "MaxxAudioPro". There I just clicked the `Midnight mode` button to limit loud sounds. For your lap top it might be different

  4. Click `save`. See if it works.


Speed up videos

1. press F12
2. choose "console"
3. Insert 
document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 2.0 
4. Press the Enter key

Remove the `news feed` from your MS Edge Browser
