In the Alps there is a village called Vajont, where a huge dam was built in 1960 and it was 260 m tall. It was generating 200 MW of electricity continuously. It's enough to power 2 million 100 W light bulbs.

After the disaster water destroyed a few villages. But the dam was left standing there. How did water get through the dam without destroying it?
